Using his type “A” personality to build a successful career in sales, family, and community, Terry K. found himself slowly getting caught up in the dark side of compulsive gambling, but only after it was too late. After racking up an enormous amount of gambling debt, he found himself losing his family, his job, his friends, and his reputation. He literally was standing at the gates of prison, insanity, and even death.
He tells of the lowest points in his life from his divorce, enduring public humiliation, a three and a half year legal battle, to his being sentenced to a five year term of home confinement.
When most would give up, he relied on his close circle of friends and his A type behaviors to pull himself up and forge ahead to a better life and new successes. He drive to succeed allowed to develop a successful garment manufacturing business even while on home confinement.
